Raised in Morganton, North Carolina, KJ attended Freedom High School where he played 5 varsity sports (Soccer, Wrestling, Baseball, Lacrosse, Track & Field) before setting his focus on soccer and playing at the collegiate and professional level. During his Sophomore year in high school he suffered a season ending leg injury leading him to his interests in strength & conditioning and rehabilitation. During his coaching career, KJ has worked with youth, collegiate and professional athletes (NFL, CFL, MLB, MiLB, LMB, UFC).
