Tana Benefiel

PERFORMANCE COACH

Raised in Wichita, Kansas, Tanna is a newcomer to the DMV area. She has experience playing soccer and basketball. She also has a love for long distance running. At both Maize High School and Emporia State University, on the soccer field, Tanna was a four-year starter playing in the midfield. At Emporia State, Tanna helped the team make their first NCAA tournament appearance in program history in 2018. She was also the first soccer athlete in program history to be awarded ESU’s Athlete Undergraduate of the Year for her achievements in both athletics and academics. Post college, Tanna has found a passion for running. Since graduation in 2020, Tanna has trained for half and full marathons. She aspires to teach and show athletes of any age that they have the potential to conquer any goal they set their mind to.
