Our commitment is to provide teaching in both basic and advanced technical elements of athleticism in a fun-filled, structured and nurturing environment. We recognize the need for youth players to ‘enjoy’ while learning and strive to make our athlete's experience enjoyable by creating a balance of skilled training with applicable small sided competition.

Grades 1-2

 

Designed for athletes at the earliest stages of development, our LITTLE CLIMBERS classes are a great introduction into exploring movement while having fun! With a strong focus on balance, body control and coordination our program is designed to keep our youngest athletes engaged through safe, exciting exercises such as relay races, obstacle courses and tag games!

LITTLE CLIMBERS

Grades 3-5

 

During these years, athletes are typically experiencing many developmental changes within their own bodies. Our FOOTHILLS program is designed for athletes looking to establish a healthy foundation of athletic coordination and body mechanics in preparation for those inevitable growth spurts. 

FOOTHILLS

Grades 6-8

 

For athletes with a desire to take the leap into high school athletics, our ALPINE program is designed to  build a strong foundation for strength, speed and conditioning while also focusing on establishing proper movement patterns with a strong concentration on injury prevention.

ALPINE

Grades 9-12

 

For the busy life of a high school athlete, our SUMMIT program is designed to focus on strength, power, acceleration, max velocity, cross over speed and mobility. Not only will this program test the mental and physical toughness of our athletes, but it is a great resource for understanding how to maintain your body as well.

SUMMIT

Grades 12+

 

For the more advanced athletes, our APEX program is designed to focus on strength, power, acceleration, max velocity, cross over speed and mobility. This program will also focus on cognitive challenges, spacial awareness and breaking down personal barriers to reach your peak potential.

INTRO TO BARBELL

The fundamentals of barbell movements are essential for athletic development.  Furthermore, proper instruction and training environment is of the utmost importance for injury prevention during this process. Focusing more heavily on form and proper mechanics, our “Intro to Barbell” class is a fantastic resource for learning Olympic style lifts such as Deadlift, Bench press, Front/back squat and Cleans safely at your own pace.

BASKETBALL

Our goal is to provide a greater foundation in speed, power, strength and individual skills on the court. We will focus on Acceleration, Top Speed, and Change of Direction/Agility on a daily basis along with adding components of Basketball to help them further their skills in games and practices. Ultimately, we want to develop a wide base of athleticism to bolster their game for the long term.

DURABILITY

Research proves the most critical component in helping prevent injury is being strong. Regardless of an athletes current level of strength, our coaches will teach proper lifting technique and ensure the athlete is safe and learns every step of the way. No matter the sport the athlete is in, they will receive the appropriate exercises to enhance their game.

FUNCTIONALITY

An athlete that has limited mobility are at a greater risk for injury. Most injuries occur in sport when an athlete is put into positions they aren’t used to controlling. It’s not just about flexibility, an athlete needs strength and stability through deep ranges of motion. Improving an athletes mobility enhances an athletes positioning, thus increasing speed.

ACCELERATION

We are driven to improve an athletes acceleration, sprint speed, lateral speed, agility, change of direction, and explosive abilities. Our coaches will enhance the positive qualities the athlete possesses for speed and correct the negative qualities that hinder their speed. Capstone has the technology and tools to create a challenging and engaging atmosphere that will show measurable progress in speed.

RECOVERY

Recovery is often a neglected and underutilized aspect of training. Athletes who continue to push their bodies without maximizing recovery will often burn out, and develop injuries during the season. Capstone prioritizes recovery techniques without our training sessions to allow for athletes to develop, and prepare and maintain a high level of performance in and out of season.
